Matthew Williamson for H&M: Collection hitting stores April 23rd!

Ladies, lusting for some hot London style without the Bond street price points? Matthew Williamson will surely get your rocks off in more ways than one. Like many of the mass retail chains bringing in designers to moonlight collections for them (Target, Payless, etc), Matthew Williamson, famous for his color drenched collections, will debut the line stateside on April 23rd in select H&M stores. You have officially been for-warned.

The collection is bright, beautiful and full of fantasia. The designer himself coined the collection to be about Escapism, and packed a punch of color that will whisk you off on an exotic jaunt: turquoise and Azure blue, Kelly green, Fuschia pink and neutral beiges to mix and match. His muse was perhaps a male peacock… No pun intentded…

The accessory to snag is a wide studded belt, a piece that will work with many looks, and into the next season. The best part? Items retail between $49- $349. And in this economy, a cheap thrill certainly goes a long way ;) I recall last year’s Roberto Cavalli Collection for H&M on Sunset Blvd. being sold out within half an hour- the line started at 7am! So be sure to get your skinny-bitch-lattes and be prepared to camp out for a few hours- it’s well worth the wait.
